Power Rangers Cosmic Fury: A Ranger Alum Won’t Be Making A Golden Homecoming For The 30th Season: Exclusive

The Illuminerdi can exclusively reveal that Abraham Rodriguez will not be returning as Nate in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is shaping up to be an exciting season with lots of surprises with some familiar faces in store for the ranger nation. We have Fern returning to become the Orange Ranger and we have Ryan Carter coming back not only as Heckyl but as the Dark Ranger as well for the first time in live-action.

The Illuminerdi can now exclusively reveal that Abraham Rodriguez will not be returning as Nate Silva, the Grid Battleforce Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.

There’s Only One Gold Ranger In Power Rangers Cosmic Fury… It’s Not Nate

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury

Sorry, Nate Nation, there’s only one Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, and that’s Aiyon, the retroactively original Gold Ranger since Power Rangers Dino Fury, one of the greatest Raftkonians to ever walk the earth.

Around the end of 2022, Rodriguez took a trip to New Zealand to spend some time with the Cosmic Fury Rangers when they were not too busy saving the galaxy from villainous forces on camera. Numerous photos with him and the cast surfaced on social media so naturally, fans assumed that he’ll make an appearance or two in the eagerly awaited 30th season.

While some of us were skeptical to believe Rodriguez’s involvement in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury given that there was no visible urgency from the cast or crew to keep his presence under wraps, and all of the images of him with the cast appeared to be quite casual, we can now confirm that he will not be in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.

It’s Too Late For Nate

Nate Silva Beast Morphers

Now that Nate’s return in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is off the table, that just leaves Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Once & Always and Jonathan Entwistle’s upcoming young adult Power Rangers series. In regards to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, that’s not happening either. As for Entwistle’s series, that’s its own entity so it’s highly unlikely we’ll see any recent past rangers show up, let alone Nate.

He’s been on Prime Video’s The Terminal List, Peacock’s Saved By The Bell, and now, you can catch him on the On My Block spin-off Freeridge on Netflix.
