The first wave of Ohsama Sentai KingOhger toys has been revealed, with a selection for the Deluxe Roleplay line and Ranger figures. This includes the DX Kings Weapon, DX Kings HotLine Belt, and the new Action Hero figures released for the 47th Sentai. The Donbrothers head has also been revealed for the King-Ohja Robo, which debuted in a recent episode of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. This limited release will be sent to fans who obtain the DX King-Ohja, which will be released soon.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger will be releasing the main items used by the Insect-Royal Ranger team, including the Ohger Calibur Changer the Rangers use to transform. The first wave of toys stars the 5 Rangers of the new series, which were revealed to include Kuwaga Ohger, Tonbo Ohger, Kamikiri Ohger, Papillion Ohger, and Hachi Ohger. The first wave also includes the main Robo of the series, King-Ohja, which combines 10 Shugods together. A single release of the first axillary machine, God Kabuto, will soon follow later in the month after the premiere.
First Wave of KingOhger Releases
The first burst of toys released for the 47th Sentai series has already been revealed to include the DX King-Ohja Robo and the DX Ohger Calibur. They will also be joined by the DX Kings Weapon and DX Kings Hotline and Ohger Holder, which are the roleplay items that can be used with the Ohger Calibur. The Action Hero figures are the new line, which is a slight change to the Change Hero line seen for Zenkaiger and Donbrothers. Most of the first wave will be released the same day before the premiere of the new Sentai series.

DX Kings Weapon & DX Kings Hotline
The roleplay line of toys features the arsenal of the KingOhger Ranger series, including the DX Ohger Calibur, DX Kings Weapon, and DX Kings Hotline & Ohger Holder. The Kings Weapon is a shield used by the Rangers and can transform into 5 distinct weapons, with each favored by a specific member of the team. The DX Kings Weapon can transform into a Great Sword, Gun, Scythe, Bow, and Claw, plus can combine with the Ohger Calibur for a Naginata mode. The DX Kings Hotline is a belt that can hold the Ohger Calibur and has a phone housed in the buckle, with various buttons to activate sounds and lines from the series.
The Kings Weapon is a great throwback to past Super Sentai shows that had the beloved One-To-Five transformable weapons. This is reminiscent of the Trasndagger in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, which could also form 5 unique weapons, but with each Ranger having a preferred form. The special attack button is also a bonus along with combining with Ohger Calibur for even more options. The DX Kings Hotline is a fantastic addition to complete the set, but all possible sounds and functions have yet to be revealed.
Action Hero Line and Figures
The Action Hero figures will include all 5 Rangers separately sold with their Ohger Calibur for toy collectors. The Red Ranger will also his King Speeder as part of a set, which reveals the first look at his vehicle. The King Speeder is a Stag-themed Hover bike used by Kuwaga Ohger, which will debut in the TV series. Each figure will include various points of articulation for various poses, including the cape that is seen on the left shoulder. Here are the images of the Ranger figures for the Action Hero series. More figures will be released for the Yuto and Candy Soft Vinyl lines for the Rangers soon.
It is fantastic that this Ranger series sees the return of personal vehicles, but it is a shame that only Kuwaga Ohger will get getting one. The Enya Rideon was used as a vehicle for Don Momotaro in Donbrothers but was more of a crossover edition linked with Zenkaiger. It is a shame that the other Ranger may not get a vehicle but the figures for the line will be fantastic for collectors to use in displays. It will be exciting to see what is created for the additional Ranger since Donbrothers’ Alter form line included Don Doragokuu as before it was exclusive to Don Momotaro.
King-Ohja Donbrother Head
The crossover of KingOhger before its premiere saw the main Robo of the series debut in a recent episode of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. Along with a new Avataro Gear, the KingOhger Robo appeared with the head of Don Onitaijin in the episode that teased the upcoming series. The Donbrothers head will also be given a limited release for fans who obtain the DX King-Ohja, but only while stocks last. Here is the first look at the King-Ohja Donbrothers head toy that will soon be released.
This is a minor addition compared to the Enya Rideon and Don ZenkaiOh, which perfectly combined both seasons. It is a shame that the head is not a proper Zord but it is still a nice addition to tease the new series set to premiere in March. Don ZenkaiOh was a unique feature in the Super Sentai series as it acted as the main Robo for Avataro Sentai Donbrothers until the Robotaro forms appeared. It also included Zenkaizer Black in the series, who crossed over from the previous Ranger team and acted as a mentor. It is unlikely to be used again for the new series but created a fantastic way to tease the new Robo featured in the 47th Sentai.
The first wave of Ohsama Sentai KingOhger toys will all be released on March 4, except for the single release of DX God Kabuto set for March 25. A full set including the DX Ohger Calibur, DX Kings Weapon, and DX Kings Hotline & Ohger Holder will also be released. The 47th Sentai series will premiere in Japan on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
