The Deadpool 3 rumors continue as the film is expected to visit one particularly known universe.
Marvel fans are momentarily excited about returning to Wakanda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film has just hit theatres with great reviews from both audiences and critics alike. Crossing over $330 Million in its opening weekend it also became the highest opening film in November of all time. And while the emotional celebration of Chadwick Boseman’s legacy, as well as the introduction of Namor to the MCU, will certainly be the talk of the town for a little more, Marvel Studios is gearing up to get audiences into the Christmas spirit.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is ready to be unpacked at the end of November and Marvel is already getting ready to start its busy next year as multiple projects are gearing up its production. We already revealed quite a bit of exclusive information about the mysterious Agatha: Coven of Chaos series, like the casting of Aubrey Plaza and the possible reveal of Joe Locke’s character.
While the WandaVision spin-off will start pre-shoots this year, a few other projects are slated to start production in early 2023. Those include the fourth Captain America film titled New World Order starring Anthony Mackie as the titular hero in March and the highly anticipated Deadpool 3 in April of 2023.

Deadpool 3 has quickly become one of the most interesting upcoming MCU projects. It started with the reveal that Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine. Funny enough this huge reveal wasn’t part of Marvel’s presentation at SDCC or D23, but rather a few weeks after the latter. It came out of nowhere. Then only a few days ago a rumor was making the round that Owen Wilson will reprise his role of Mobius in the film from Loki. That rumor could have huge implications for the Deadpool 3’s plot.
And while we’re talking about implications, the next rumor might even be bigger.
WADE WILSON MIGHT VISIT A FANTASTIC UNIVERSE IN DEADPOOL 3
According to insider Daniel Richtman Deadpool 3 will take place in multiple of the Fox-marvel universes. He especially mentioned the Fantastic Four from the 2005 and 2007 films respectively. According to Richtman Ryan Reynolds wants Chris Evans, who played Captain America for the last ten years, to suit up as the Human Torch again. The insider also first reported Owen Wilson’s potential casting.
This rumor only clarifies what many fans have already speculated. Deadpool 3 will be a multiverse-jumping adventure, where the Merc with a Mouth and Wolverine travel through past Marvel universes while trying to find their way into the MCU. And it seems like the TVA (Time Variance Authority) isn’t too happy about that as they, and especially Owen Wilson’s Mobius, could serve as a sort-of antagonist, who tries to stop the duo from their goal as they are protecting the sacred timeline.

It remains to be seen which other universes the two might visit, but it seems like a good bet that more X-Men could be featured in the film, should these rumors turn out to be true.
I think it would be great to see Chris Evans back as Human Torch. Or more specifically to see Deadpool traveling all these different universes. One can only imagine all the great one-liners and jokes. The multiverse seems like the perfect playground for this beloved character. And with production set to start in the Spring of next year, it shouldn’t be too long before we hear something official.
Deadpool 3 is set to hit theaters on November 8, 2024. What do you all think? Which universe would you like to see appear in the threequel? Are you excited about the film? Let’s discuss everything in the comments down below and on our social media.
