Rumors for Ohsama Sentai KingOhger suggest a different mix of Ranger colors and their insect-machine motifs than originally told. As the 47th Sentai draws near, more rumors from elite Sentai fans regarding the team have been spreading as corrections are made to initial statements for what the Ranger team could be comprised of. This includes the female Rangers of the team and the actual colors expected for them and what vehicle motifs a couple of these Rangers may have.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger is the King-themed Sentai season that has been rumored to include Insect Rangers with an additional vehicle motif. The Ranger team will have a cluster of features as part of the show, including the use of coins as the gimmick used for transforming and other abilities. This new Sentai season is expected to continue the use of past Sentai powers seen in the 45th and 46th Sentai teams, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger and Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. This includes the rumor of Sentai coins summoning special CGI monsters rather than having CGI Rangers or Alters like its predecessor.
New KingOhger Rumors Suggest Ranger Color Misinterpretation And Specific Designs
KingOhger was originally rumored to include a Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, and Purple Ranger for the core team and a 6th Ranger being pink. However, a new rumor from Rangerboard’s Dukemon that has been revealed suggests a misinterpretation due to original perceptions of the source. It is now rumored that the Purple Ranger will be the 6th Ranger of the team and will have the spider motif. This means that the Pink Ranger will be part of the core team and a female Ranger, meaning the color scheme will be like previous Sentai seasons with the iconic scheme seen in Zyuranger, Megaranger, Boukenger, and Goseiger.

The rumors also suggest motifs of specific Rangers and that the bee Ranger will be a female Black, with yellow as an accent color. The motifs for Rangers include a Mantis yellow Ranger with a Jet Fighter vehicle motif, a pink Butterfly Ranger, and the 6th Ranger to have a spaceship motif combined with the Spider. Rumors have also detailed the Zord for the 6th Ranger having two forms, which are a Spider Spaceship mode and a robot mode.
This mix is extraordinary as these Rangers have such exciting concepts individually, which have never been seen in a Sentai team before. It will be exciting to see a Black female Ranger for the first time in Super Sentai, but it is also worth noting that the Black Ranger could be a bee or wasp due to the Japanese word being the same but written Hachi(蜂) and Hachi(ハチ), respectively. The black Ranger concept seems similar to the female Black ranger in Power Rangers Hyperforce, which has red details for the accent color.
The spider Ranger sounds like the most exciting 6th Ranger to appear in a Super Sentai season, as a spider mixed with a spaceship is going to look magnificent. If true, the detailing on the Zord will be visually stunning and the gun that becomes a sword will be awesome to see. It will be interesting to see what direction this Sentai team will go in as the core Ranger could have two sets of Zords, transforming Zords like Gobusters or an integrated design like the Zords for Go-Onger. Every fan will have to wait for confirmation that is expected during December this year, but here is a comparison between all color rumors for the Ranger team.
More information for Ohsama Sentai KingOhger will be revealed at the end of the year with the first image of the Ranger and the 1st Quarter catalog of toys and items.
