In five weeks, the world will return to Wakanda to see them battle it out with the Atlanteans in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. After the loss of their king, the Wakandans are in mourning, but the rest of the world sees this as a prime opportunity to strike. But the world is about to find out. Wakanda may be in pain, but the Wakandas are far from weak. Queen Ramonda will lead her people into battle and show the world the power of Wakanda. Check out the official trailer for the film below. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Official Trailer

The biggest surprise in the new official trailer is the reveal of the new Black Panther. In the comics, Shuri has picked up the mantle of the Black Panther and led a pretty successful run, and the film looks to be taking info from the source material. While it is not 100% confirmed that is Shuri as the new Black Panther, as she doesn’t remove her mask, it is a pretty safe bet to make. Another big reveal was Iron Heart’s armor! It’s pretty dark so we don’t get a glamorous long look, we get a very good look at the suit’s design. Fans can also just check out the recently revealed Hasbro Marvel Legends figure for a thorough viewing.

From the teaser, Namor was confirmed to have his winged ankles. From the trailer, we get to see the wings in action. Imperious Rex looks to be a menacing threat on land, under the sea, and in the air. Namor is an often overlooked character by those unfamiliar with the comic books, but avid readers know, this mutant is not one to mess with. The world will see why The Sub-Mariner is a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming film. But with a new Black Panther, Riri Williams in her new Iron Heart armor, M’Baku, and the Dora Milake, the Wakandas are more than prepared for the Atlanteans.

It has been a difficult journey for this film, especially with the loss of Chadwick Boseman. However, the film looks to be fully ready to honor his legacy and continue making history with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever releases in theaters on November 11, 2022, with special screenings and double features beginning November 10, 2022. Tickets are on sale now.
