In Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, She-Hulk has found herself a defacto archnemesis in that of Titania, portrayed by Jameela Jamil. Jamil is taking her performance a step further, as she’s posted a group of dazzling photos as Titania for the series on her Twitter account.
You can check out Jamil’s images from her Titania photoshoot that she tweeted out below:
JAMEELA JAMIL HAS FUN WITH HER TITANIA PHOTOSHOOT ON TWITTER
In the Marvel Studios TV series, Titania is a super-powered influencer, who became rivals with Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, after she knocked her out in court when Titania was trying to escape a traffic ticket charge. Using her super strength, Titania was about to attack the jury in Jennifer’s trial in order to make her escape. However, Jennifer transformed into She-Hulk and was able to stop her.
Titania escalated matters when she attempted to sue She-Hulk for the copyright of her superhero name by launching a line of bogus cosmetic products.
The rivalry continued in this week’s episode when Titania attempted to tangle with She-Hulk while Jennifer was working as the bridesmaid at an old family friend’s wedding. It did not end well for Titania.
While Titania has become a thorn in Jennifer’s side, her goals seem to be more in pursuing vain fame, fortune, and glory, not so much as hurting the weak and innocent. Clearly, Jamil is having a lot of fun playing the role, adding some jokes on She-Hulk for good measure in her tweets, such as writing, “Praying that ***** gets what’s coming to her.” She also added, “#SheHulk, #SheSulkMoreLikeIt,” along with “#ShrekOnKeto.”
Later on, she tweeted, “WEIRD THAT WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ‘SHE-HULK’ AND PRINCESS FIONA IN THE SAME ROOM AT THE SAME TIME NO? #Titania.” Well, her social media game and speech definitely read in an authentic manner. Additionally, she used the fun nickname for the Titania fans, who have been dubbed “Titaniacs.”
Overall, it’s great to see that Jamil is having fun with the character of Titania, and she’s totally embraced the role of the foil and archnemesis to She-Hulk. It’s always nice when the actors are having so much fun with the character they play that they do a little extra with the performance on social media. Not to mention, it makes sense for Titania when the show’s version of the character is so fixated on being an influencer and being famous.
It will be interesting to see if Titania continues to target She-Hulk for the remainder of the season and if we can expect to see her again in future Marvel projects. Based on the events of Episode Six, Titania is likely far from done in going after She-Hulk.
New episodes of Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law debut on Thursdays on Disney+. There are three more episodes to go for this season. But what do you think of the photos?
