Triple H talks about what it is like trying to work with Bray Wyatt and his creative mind.

Since returning to an active position within WWE after suffering a cardiac issue a year ago Triple H has been doing a lot of interviews. He has been asked about a lot of different things and we have received a lot of interesting stories like him accidentally knocking Kurt Angle out cold during a match.

However, during a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, Triple H discussed what it is like working with a tornado of creative ideas like Wyatt.

“[He is] one of the most and I mean this in the best way possible, crazy creative people I’ve ever been around,” Triple H said. “[His] mind just never stops thinking of creative, but it’s like being in a whirlwind of stuff, without the harness and without somebody to point the tornado, it’s just all over the place. And he’s a victim of his own mind.”

Wyatt has long been thought of as one of the most unique and interesting wrestlers in modern wrestling.  He is able to take these very unique characters like the cult leader Wyatt character and make it work and become one of the most popular gimmicks in WWE.  More recently he was an even more challenging character, The Fiend, an evil Mister Rogers and his evil Fiend alter-ego.

Triple H commends Wyatt’s creative mind, but admits he has no idea where his ideas came from and was amazed by some of the ideas Wyatt came up with.

“I have no idea where some of the concepts and thoughts come from in his head, like some crazy place, right?” Triple H said.  “Wonderfully free-flowing, creative mind; as long as you can harness him, it’s an amazing thing.”

Wyatt Being “Difficult” And His Release

Wyatt’s immense creative mind led to some amazing ideas, but WWE didn’t always know how to use him to the fullest.  This resulted in some very bad booking and losses to people which didn’t make any sense.

Wyatt was released from WWE in July 2021 due to budget cuts.  He has not set foot in a wrestling ring since.  During his time outside the ring he has been working on making a horror movie.

In the past few months we learned that budget cuts may not have been the reason for Wyatt’s release or at least not the main reason.  It came to light that Vince McMahon and Wyatt didn’t always get along.  Wyatt began to get the reputation of being difficult to work with because he had the audacity to call a bad idea a bad idea.

Triple H echoed the sentiment of Wyatt being difficult, but said it was also fun to work with someone like that.

“Everybody has quirks and things and thoughts, but you communicate with each other, and you create your collaborative with each other,” Triple H said. “To me, that’s when this is the best, when you can fluidly, point and click is boring. I want to get the ideas from everywhere and collaborate and work together and figure out how to harness those ideas and put them on paper and get them on TV or social media, wherever we’re going to do it and run with them.”

Hearing Triple H talk about Wyatt in such a positive way is a very good thing. McMahon and Wyatt didn’t always see eye-to-eye which helped to lead to his release even though he was one of WWE’s top stars. He may not have wanted to bring him back, but Triple H seems to be a big fan.

Wyatt has been rumored to return to WWE for a long time, basically since his release. There has been no concrete rumors whether Wyatt wants to come back or if WWE wants him back. Wyatt has only fanned the rumors by sending out cryptic tweets which seemed to hint at his WWE return.

Hopefully Wyatt returns to wrestling soon because he is so talented and I want to see him wrestle again, but more so I am tired of being teased by his return. At this point it is more annoying than exciting.

Do you think Triple H talking about Wyatt in such a positive way makes his return more likely? Do you think he will ever return or should we put away all hope? If he was to return do you think he would be more likely to go to WWE or AEW? By the time he returns his kids may be old enough to join WWE and they’ll be part of his real Wyatt family.
