“Thie is a Life” by Son Lux with Mitski and David Byrne

Mitski and David Byrne’s duet in “This is a Life” is hypnotizing. The calm lead into the rambunctious beats very much reflects the tone of the trailer. It starts off a bit unassuming, then just goes out of this world. Son Lux scored Everything Everywhere All at Once and announced that the film’s soundtrack will have 49 tracks. In addition to Mitski and David Bryne, Lux announced that André Benjamin (Aka André 3000), Randy Newman, and Moses Sumney also contributed to the film’s soundtrack.

Everything Everywhere All at Once already looked like an incredible film. Michelle Yeoh versus Jamie Lee Curtis is already worth the price of admission. Then the whole multiverse aspect, Ke Huy Quan’s return to acting, and the rest of the awesome cast just add to it. However, after hearing Son Lux’s song, it appears his score is set to elevate the film to a whole new level. Plus, the collaborating artists are all renowned for their musical works, and their varying genres of music seem to reflect the varying worlds of the film.

Everything Everywhere All at Once is set to release in theaters on March 25, 2022, the film’s soundtrack releases on April 8, 2022.
