Some of the voices were probably recognizable in the trailer, but what definitely rang a bell was Kurt Farquhar’s composition. Farquhar wrote and composed the original “The Proud Family” theme song and returns as series songwriter and composer for The Proud Family: Loud and Prouder. With the new series, he reimagined a contemporary version of the theme song while still preserving the lyrics and melody. The new version is performed by rising R&B star Joyce Wrice.
