The first image of the new ranger team in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers has just appeared on social media!

The 46th Sentai is one of the most anticipated Super Sentai series to debut as it has been reported that the show will be a sequel to Kikai Sentai Donbrothers. The poster featured gives fans their first true look at what the new team looks like for this new Ranger series. Fans also get a first look at the EnyaRideon, which is a bike featured in the series that can form a Robo with Zenkaiger, Zenkai Juran.

Avataro Sentai Donbrothers is the latest Super Sentai series set to debut in 2022. The series will combine elements based on the folktale, Momotaro, as well as will include past Super Sentai teams in their design. This includes Zenkaizer and Zenkai Juran appearing in the next installment, along with new weapons, Changers, and the first use of CGI throughout a series.

The CGI is a key element as this will be used for three out of the five ranger characters, plus will be what all mecha will be based on for the series. Mecha and Zords that formed the mecha usually included the use of suits and physical models, so this is a first for Super Sentai.

The first image of the Avataro Sentai Donbrothers team also teases a glimpse of their abilities, weapons and their Changer for the series.

First-Look at the Avataro Sentai Donbrothers New Ranger Team

Avataro Sentai Donbrothers

As fans will soon know, each ranger is based on a featured character from the Momotaro story. Below is how each ranger will match their mythic counterpart:

  • Don Momotaro – The Hero Red Ranger
  • Oni Sister – The Oni Yellow Ranger
  • Inu Brother – The Dog Black Ranger
  • Saru Brother – The Monkey Blue Ranger
  • Kiji Brother – The Pheasant Pink Ranger

The visor of each Ranger looks fantastic! Each design variation looks dominant in the silhouette previously seen for Don Momotaro. It’s great how they all look unique and how they all looked armored but are not overwhelmed by too much detail. This makes the colors of their design really pop

Momotaro also has a perfect blend of colors with the peach symbol being an eye-catching, metallic pink. Each ranger also has individual designs and textures for their armor, which is a lot like the designs seen in Kyuranger.

The oddest part of this team is that the Pink and Black Rangers appear to be CGI since their proportions are different than humanly possible. This means the other three may be practical suits and characters, but these specific Rangers will likely be CGI and voiced over.

The Changer also really pops out and seems modern considering the theme. The color scheme does clash with the color scheme of the Rangers, but somehow really works and makes it look like an absolute masterpiece.

Along with this poster that gives fans a first look at the new team, we also got an image of Don Momotaro on the EnyaRideon. This has been reported to be able to combine with Zenkai Juran to form a Robo.

This is an epic first look at this vehicle and it is going to be awesome to see how it combines with Juran. It is likely to appear early on since the formation will be the first robo to debut in the Donbrothers series. The decoration on the EnyaRideon is clearly influenced by Zenkaiger as it has the Zenkai Gear on it, along with the bird motif seen in the design of the Zenkaiger Changer.

This series is going to be a brilliant show for Sentai fans, and the colors used in this poster really build the excitement for what’s to come. Hopefully, it won’t be long until we get to see the catalog for the toys, especially since the next feature people are excited to see is the mecha and Zords.
