As we all know, No Way Home brings Tom Holland’s first solo Spider-Man film trilogy to its epic conclusion, though earlier reports from Sony Producer Amy Pascal suggested we would see three more films starring Holland in the MCU. Recently, even Sony Pictures Chief Tom Rothman confirmed that there would be at least one more solo Spider-Man film starring Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he did not say anything else about a potential new trilogy.

Questions surrounding Holland’s exciting future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe were asked on the red carpet, and here’s what the No Way Home writers had to say.

During a recent interview with Variety, No Way Home writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers were asked about the potential future of Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, McKenna and Sommers were very cautious to NOT potentially spoil any future plans. McKenna acknowledged that he and Sommers knew they could not say anything upfront, telling the outlet that:

“We are smart enough to ‘A,’ not say anything and ‘B,’ know that you can’t count on anything.”

McKenna then explained that:

“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie.”

Meanwhile, during earlier No Way Home press events, Pascal has said this:

“We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

Based on these comments, it’s safe to say that Tom Holland’s future with the Marvel Cinematic Universe is bright indeed.
