More information and rumors are slowly pouring out regarding the 46th Sentai series, Avataro Sentai Donbrothers.
The latest information reveals more details regarding how much of Zenkaiger is integrated in to the next series, as well as more about the team in general.
Although we haven’t got the full catalogue released yet, there has been many leaks and news regarding the latest Super Sentai show.
What’s Going On With Avataro Sentai Donbrothers?
Super Sentai has just celebrated its 45th anniversary with Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, which focused on the robo aspect of the franchise. As one series ends, fans instantly look for any clues regarding the next Ranger team in Japan. Thanks to hard core fans like Dukemon, with the help from SentaiFive, Rangerliz, and the Rangerboard, there has been bursts of information released for fans to talk about.
Between end of December and February is when the various first, clear look of the team generally debuts. This will include the ranger forms, weapons, gear, changer, Sentai Robo, and more. For now, this is all that has been released so far regarding the next instalment.

Here is everything known and shared so far regarding Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. Keep in mind that some rumours should be taken as such and that mistranslations are possible, which may result in items being different than reported.
The Theme of the Sentai
As many now know, the next Super Sentai series theme will be based on the famous Japanese Folklore story, Momotaro. This character is a huge hero in Japanese culture and features the peach-born hero, who is the basis for the Red Ranger in this series.
Latest leaks also reveal that ‘Avataro’ may be a spin on the word Momotaro with Avatar. This is due to a lot of the series suggesting a lot of use of CGI for various content and powers in the series.
Team Leader’s First Silhouette
Thanks to fans that have obtained the magazines regarding the Super Sentai series. We now can see the silhouette of the Red Sentai Ranger, MomoBrother, next to Zenkaiger’s Zenkaiger, who is rumoured to appear in the next show.
The Current Details On All Members
MomoBrother details have been released regarding his appearance. Leaves will be the main design of the visor, with a peach seen as a crest on the helmet. It is now said that the peach is metallic pink and not silver, which makes his colour scheme very unique compared to past Rangers.
The rest of the team will all be based on characters seen in the Momotaro tale. It was previously revealed that basis of the other Rangers will be an Oni Demon, Pheasant, Dog, and monkey. Recent leaks have revealed exactly what colors the whole team will be comprised of.
It was already known that the Oni Demon will be a yellow Ranger called OniSister, but finally know the official colours of the other three. The Black Dog Ranger, Blue Monkey, and Pheasant Pink Ranger each have names similar to their teammates. These are InuBrother, SaruBrother, and KijiBrother, which Suggests that the Pink Ranger is also male.
The composition of Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, and Pink is a known common colour scheme of a Ranger team. However, it hasn’t been seen since 34th Sentai series, Goseiger, so it’s refreshing to see the base team with these colours again.
For a character from one sentai and then undergo drastic changes to enter another hasn’t been heard of before. But Juran isn’t the only one as Zenkaizer is also rumoured to have a black version also.
The Transformation Device and Gimmick
There are currently on rumours regarding what the items will be in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. The names of them have been confirmed though as copyright of property was created.
The transformation Device is currently known to be a pistol called the Donblaster. However, latest news suggests that the changer in Zenkaiger, the Geartlinger will be used in the beginning. This also includes reports that gears will also be used in this Sentai as well, but with a twist.
It’s so insane that gears will continue being used as there has never been a Sentai gimmick that directly transfers to another.
Its also amazing that the use of past Sentai teams will still be part of the next series too, which may have happened due to the affects of Covid on Zenkaiger.
Weapons, Items, and Further Details
It was already revealed that a few weapons were named as the copyright appeared. Rumours also include the concept of a belt buckle shaped like a Peach for MomoBrother. Now more information has been revealed for the ZanglassSword.
There is also a new weapon mentioned for OniSister alongside details regarding the visual appearance of the three animal-based teammates.
The weapon will be fascinating to see since its rare to see a mace as a personal weapon for the core team. The descriptions for the CGI Ranger characters is another thing entirely as it’s clear these aren’t going to be like anything fans have seen before.
The Robo and ‘Zords’ Rumors So Far
With the use of Avataro gear Alters, the robo forms of Rangers will be summoned. Along with names for mecha and details surrounding them, details so surface about how Avataro Sentai Donbrothers will differ to most Sentai robo battles.
The use of Previous zords in this sentai is shocking as these was expected when details of Zenkaiger first surfaced. It will be interesting to see how the Alter forms will work, especially since past Sentai zords seem to be part of this Sentai like fans expected for the Kikai Sentai.
It’s so weird that battles will occur in another dimension rather than giant combat in a city. Juran is certainly going to be so interesting to watch in this sentai. The motorbike concept also works will with the character we know currently in Zenkaiger.
This is going to be a Sentai like no other and it’s going to be hard for fans to imagine what is going to happen. Especially since Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger is being referenced too
There is so much to talk about regarding the 46th sentai and its likely fans will be talking all month about the latest information. This will drive the anticipation further than most hunts for Sentai images as the closer we get to the end of Zenkaiger, the closer fans get to seeing the first set of images for the toys and the previews of the new Rangers for the show.
