Doctor Strange and Loki might be about to cross paths once more.

Since the release of Wandavision, Marvel started to temper with the multiverse – an idea that was explained even further in the Loki series.

The season finale of Loki opened the door to the multiverse that is currently being explored with the What If series, with the latest episode showing Strange becoming deranged and breaking every law set forth by the previous Sorcerer Supreme. The result was a split of Steven Strange himself into two counterparts.

Doctor Strange Meets New Timeline Friends?

It’s possible that episode gave clues to what could be possibly happening in Spider-Man: No Way Home. If you know, you know. That is a conversation for another time.

But the topic at hand is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. If it is anything like Marvel’s What If, then we are certainly in for a treat. There is a rumor going around of two big cameos happening in the upcoming movie. It is no rumor anymore that Wanda will appear in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, but some new reports are claiming that characters from Loki will be appearing as the series also ties into this movie.

The season finale of Loki set a particular string of events in motion after Sylvie stabbed a variant of Kang the Conqueror in the chest. This unexpected turn of events trapped Loki into an alternate timeline, one which appears to be…conquered by Kang. During “The DisInsider Show”, co-host Derek Cornell revealed that both Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) will appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With the confirmation that season two of Loki is a go, the cameo could lay a solid foundation for the upcoming events of the sophomore season.

What are your thoughts about these rumors? I think it would a lot of fun to see the What If episode plays out in the bigger in some way or another. It seems that Dr. Strange Supreme COULD be in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. We will find out soon enough. Don’t forget to follow us across all our multiverse of social media handles, you never know which one will post an exclusive first. Till next time!
