Star Trek Lower Decks Season 2 Episode 1, Strange Energies

Where No Man Has Gone Before:

The second pilot for Star Trek: The Original Series introduced us to the crew of the enterprise through a mission to the edge of the galaxy where Lieutenant Commander Gary Mitchell receives incredible powers after coming in contact with “strange energies”. Mitchell, played by Gary Lockwood, began to change as these new powers took hold and was ultimately killed when Kirk used his phaser to collapse a hillside on top of him.
