Many know Justin Chon for his roles in the Twilight saga and 21 & Over, but the new trailer for Blue Bayou – which he also wrote and directed – shows a new side to the actor.
Blue Bayou will be released in theaters September 17, 2021 by Focus Features. Check out the official synopsis below:

Antonio LeBlanc (Chon), a Korean adoptee raised in a small town in the Louisiana bayou, is married to the love of his life Kathy (Alicia Vikander) and step-dad to their beloved daughter Jessie.

It’s nice to see Chon taking on a different kind of role to show his versatility as an actor. If all goes well, this could turn heads and launch Chon’s career in a whole new direction free of sparkly vampires. We’ll have to wait and see Blue Bayou on December 17th, 2021 to find out.
