There definitely isn’t going to be a shortage of Transformers movies coming in the next few years. One of those is Transformers 7 and according to a report from ComicBookMovie, Luna Lauren Velez (Dexter, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) will be joining the cast of the upcoming blockbuster.
Velez sat down with CBM talking about her new movie, Rogue Hostage, as well as her involvement in Transformers 7:
“I’m doing Transformers 7 which I’m very excited about. I play Anthony Ramos’ mom in that film, so there’s some exciting stuff coming up.”

When it was brought up that it was be exciting to be apart of such a major blockbuster franchise she continued with the following:
“It really is. I have to confess that I haven’t seen any of the films, so to come in a project like this at this moment was really great. I’m excited about that. It’s going to be fun stuff.”
Transformers 7 Expands The Transformers Cinematic Universe
Transformers 7 will just be one piece of the ever-expanding Transformers cinematic universe that is being built over at Paramount Pictures.
The universe was first expanded with the prequel Bumblebee along with its 2022 sequel. Another animated prequel film titled Transformers One is also in development with Josh Cooley set to direct.
The Illuminerdi has also exclusively the working title for a live-action film based on the Transformers Beast Wars storyline, Transformers Beast Alliance, which is in development over at Paramount.
There are also rumors of Paramount doing potential crossovers with other Hasbro properties such as G.I. Joe or even Power Rangers.
Regardless, the Transformers movie franchise isn’t going anywhere, so hopefully it means that we can only go up from here.
Transformers 7 currently has no set release date.
