Disney+ just released the trailer for its upcoming original series, The Mysterious Benedict Society, today in honor of National Streaming Day.
The new series, based on the best-selling book series by Trenton Lee Steward, looks amazing and starts streaming June 25th.

At first the trailer might come off as deja vu for fans of the hit show Umbrella Academy, but that is only because both of the series were created around the same time in 2007-2008 and center around a popular arc.

However, where The Mysterious Benedict Society shines is that the talents of the children are much more than just super powers, there skills that we could use more of in our society. And that is why this series is going to be a hit.
“After winning a scholarship competition, four gifted orphans are recruited by the peculiar Mr. Benedict for a dangerous mission to save the world from a global crisis known as The Emergency. Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance must infiltrate the mysterious L.I.V.E. Institute to discover the truth behind the crisis. When the headmaster, the sophisticated Dr. Curtain appears to be behind this worldwide panic, the kids of “The Mysterious Benedict Society” must devise a plan to defeat him.
