Marvel has released its first Eternals footage in a rather surprising way.

After rumors of a new Marvel trailer surfaced last weekend, Marvel Studios released a video celebrating the past of the MCU as well as giving us glimpses at future movies.

MCU fans have been eagerly anticipating a first look at Academy Award Winner Chloé Zhao’s Eternals and after all this waiting we finally got a short glimpse at the upcoming movie.

Eternals And So Much More

The Video starts with a touching voice over of Stan Lee and several clips of previous MCU movies leading to a theatre reaction of the legendary “Portal” scene in Avengers: Endgame. The Marvel Studios intro plays and we get a short new look at Black Widow showing several new shots of already shown scenes, a look at Shang-Chi with a new action scene featuring Awkwafina’s Katy driving a car and then our first look at Eternals.

We see Salma Hayek riding a Horse, a scene featuring multiple cast members at a beach with a beautiful sunset, as well as in front of a Babylonian Building and in a forest. We get a short look at Angelina Jolie’s Thena, Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo and Gemma Chan’s Sersi.

We also get to see old and new title cards, showing the release dates of upcoming MCU movies including: Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17, 2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (March 25, 2022), Thor: Love and Thunder (May 6, 2022), Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (February 17, 2023), Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3 (May 5, 2023) and Marvel Studios Fantastic Four.

Marvel also has unveiled the official titles for the Black Panther and Captain Marvel sequel: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (July 8, 2022) and The Marvels (November 11, 2022).

The future of the MCU is definitely brighter than ever and I can’t wait to experience all of these movies (hopefully) in a cinema.
