WHO ARE THE BAD BATCH?

The Bad Batch

For those yet to catch up on the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Bad Batch are a special covert ops team originally comprised of 4 genetically modified clone troopers with unique specialties in cloak and dagger, demolitions, engineering, and more. They go by Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Crosshair, respectively.

It wasn’t until the Clone Wars reached the planet of Anaxes, where the Bad Batch, Captain Rex, and Anakin Skywalker discovered that the Confederacy of Independent Systems (aka. The CIS/Separatists) were using Clone Trooper “Echo” to formulate combat strategies against the Clone Army. Echo was declared killed in action at the Citadel (a CIS maximums security prison) on a mission to rescue Jedi Master & General Even Piell after having been caught in an explosion.

After the Republic regained control of Anaxes, Echo made the decision to stay with the Bad Batch and operate independently from the other clones of the Grand Army of the Republic. Little did they know what would await them…

ENTER THE GALACTIC EMPIRE

With the Supreme Chancellor turned Emperor during the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Sheev Palpatine officially declared the reorganization of the Republic into the first Galactic Empire and we all know how those plans turned out… With the galaxy thrown into turmoil under this new tyrannical government, many of the allies of the Republic, such as the Jedi and the Bad Batch, were forced into hiding or on the run as planets were placed under Imperial occupation.
