One Night in Miami star Kingsley Ben-Adir has been cast as the villain in Marvel Studios Disney+ series Secret Invasion.

Deadline exclusively broke the news that Kingsley Ben-Adir has been cast in the upcoming Disney+ series. He is said to play the lead villain, but as of now we don’t know who that is.

He will star alongside Samuel L. Jackson, who will return as Nick Fury, as well as Ben Mendelsohn who we will be seeing again as Talos, the shapeshifting Skrull that audiences met in Captain Marvel.

The Disney+ series will be based on the iconic comic event “Secret Invasion”, in which we will see a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.

Kingsley Ben-Adir recently rose to fame by playing Malcolm X in the critical acclaimed One Night in Miami, the directing debut of Regina King, which just scored three Oscar nominations. He is also known for his role in Peaky Blinders and High Fidelity (2020).
