As it turns out Director Hayward, played by Josh Stamberg, apparently lied when he claimed Wanda had attacked the base and stole Vision’s body. Instead Wanda was told she would not be able to lay Vision’s remains to rest.

Some newly revealed storyboards, found on Twitter, from the episode feature dialogue that didn’t make it into the episode itself.

Asking where Vision’s body is, Wanda says:

“I’m sick of everyone acting like Tony Stark is the only person we lost. Like he’s the only Avenger there ever was. Too bad then, if you’re Natasha, but at least she was flesh and blood, right? But where are the memorials for Vision? No moving tributes for the synthezoid?”

These lines could have been cut for any number of reasons but they do make a valid point, given all those we had lost even before Thanos snapped his fingers.

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings and Randall Park. The first eight episodes are available now on Disney+ and the finale releases Friday March 5th.
