The CW’s Black Lightning Season 4 trailer has hit the net and it’s lighting up the skies!

Concentrating on balancing life as a family man and a superhero after nine years of super heroism, Jefferson Pierce dons the suit of the titular vigilante to once again protect the streets of Freeland, Georgia, combating criminal gangs and new adversaries testing him with challenges he has never faced. With the start of Black Lightning’s fourth season just around the corner, there’s no doubt that this show intends to deal out a bang similar to its prior seasons!

Tackling various themes of racial inequality, sacrifice, economic hardship, and dealing with one’s inner demons, the CW’s Black Lightning is among one of the great shows featuring DC Comics’ diverse cast of metahuman heroes and foes beginning the onset of its close as The Flash, Green Arrow, and Supergirl of its Arrowverse lineup.

The production from Berlanti Productions and Akil Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television began airing on January 16, 2018, consisting of 13-16 episodes per its previous 3 seasons. Although there is no present connection with the Arrowverse, the CW’s Black Lightning is sure to wrap up as a strong contender in broadcasted television media of the superhero genre.

WHAT COMES NEXT FROM THE CW?

The network is currently developing a spinoff series centered on the villain Painkiller, portrayed by actor Jordan Calloway, with its pilot airing as the seventh episode of Black Lightning’s final season.
