Mortal Kombat Sets New 2021 Release Date And A Trailer Release Tease

Warner Bros. has finally set an official release date for the upcoming 'Mortal Kombat' movie and one of the producers seemingly confirmed the trailer release period.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot. Now we finally have a release date and an idea of when the first trailer will be released.

The official Mortal Kombat Movie Twitter account released the official logo combined with the release date. Mortal Kombat will hit theatres and HBO Max April 16, 2021.

But that’s not all. Producer Todd Garner also confirmed via his Twitter account that we will be seing the first trailer, “in the new year.” A fan commented that he thinks the trailer will drop “around January or mid February” on which Garner replied “Great Guess.”

If I had to predict, the trailer will probably drop around end of January, with a possible Super-Bowl TV Spot (if it takes place) in Febrauary and the second trailer in March.

The cast includes: Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero and Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion Lewis Tan has been cast as the movie’s protagonist. Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Tadanobu Asano as Raiden, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Josh Lawson as Kano, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Max Huang as Kung Lao, Chin Han as Tsang Tsung, and Elidda Cadwell as Nitara.
