Phantasy Star Online 2 is finally coming to steam on the 5th of August 2020. Phantasy Star Online 2 is a free-to-play online action role-playing game that is developed and published by Sega.
The game from the Phantasy Star series was first released only in Japan for PC and various gaming platforms but recently, was made available for North America on 27th May this year. The game was also released on Xbox One but for PC, the game could only be found on the Microsoft Store.
Gamer’s Problem With PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 On Microsoft
Unfortunately for many, Microsoft store hasn’t been the best platform for PSO2 to launch due to a glitch on MS store that caused the installed files to be deleted after the computer has been restarted. This glitch has been caused many issues for players and, of course, meant that a decent portion of potential players was unable to play after one session.
So far, this issue has yet to be officially resolved. However, with the game now being released on Steam, the game should benefit by the well-known, and commonly used, video game digital distribution service.
With it now being put on Steam, the installation issue should now be a thing of the past and those affected will finally be able to enjoy the title as they normally would.
