Get to know some of your recent favorite Tokusatsu actresses with Super Sentai Party.
With COVID-19 causing entertainment studios to halt production on various projects and events, celebrities have begun finding new virtual ways to interact with fans. Super Sentai and Kamen Rider shows, such as Mashin Sentai Kirameiger and Kamen Rider Zero-One are still on hold, but the company behind them is giving its fans a treat to tide them over.
Last weekend, Toei started up a new variety show called Super Sentai Party, which brings four actresses from various sentai shows on screen to chat.

The show is hosted by Hiroya Matsumato, who played Beet Buster in the sentai series Go-Busters – which was adapted into Power Rangers Beast Morphers. He was also the yellow magiranger from Magiranger (Mystic Force).
On the show was Miki Yanagi from Zyuohger, Sakurako Okubo from Kyuuranger, Kazusa Okuyama from Lupinranger VS Patranger, and Ichika Osaki from Ryusoulger – which will be the next sentai adapted for Power Rangers Dino Fury.
It is interesting to see actresses from some of the sentai series that were in talks and rumored to be the next adaptation for Power Rangers before the news of Ryusoulger being the choice came out. The show’s topics include what the actresses are up to during the quarantine, the friendships that have been made and behind the scenes stories from their respective seasons.
The actresses also send a positive message of support for the crew and cast working on the latest sentai, Kirameiger.
Perhaps this new show will be the inspiration Hasbro needs to come up with a Power Rangers version to happen as well. The 1st episode is available through the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club app, which will have two more episodes on the 28th and 30th of May.
