“I would go back, if I were coming back for the entire season. I wouldn’t go back for one episode or two episodes. It would have to be, Billy comes back from space, Billy has this role to do with the new rangers, and I’m there for the whole season.”

When a fan asked if he would come back specifically to be a mentor in a future Power Rangers season. Yost continued with the following statement:

“Yes, I would come back and be a mentor.”

There you have it, from the man himself. While this is not in any way a confirmation that David Yost is in talks to return to the franchise anytime soon, the concept is interesting to think about.

Yost also talks a little bit about the difficulties for returning due to him being a unionized actor and Power Rangers being a non-union show. Yost explained that for him to go on Power Rangers, he would have to leave the union and that he understandably wouldn’t be willing to do that for just one episode.

He even goes a little bit into the upcoming Beast Morphers and Dino Crossover, explaining that Austin St. John is the only MMPR cast member returning and even inadvertently teasing that St. John could appear in multiple episodes.
