The Power Rangers fans are truly the heart of the franchise. They put their own sweat, tears and hopefully not blood into their various works, projects, and creations.
This past weekend, The Illuminerdi’s own Jezzer Zeus sat down virtually with Colin Bass, Producer of a fan film called Power Rangers: First Ninja, Bass has done other fan films such as an Arrowverse Fan Film involving characters from The CW Flash Show.

Teamwork Makes The Power Rangers Dream Work
This film is set a prequel to the season of Power Rangers Ninja Storm and according to Bass, will tie over with the Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers and Power Rangers Ninja Steel. Bass is a true bonafide Ranger fan and really looks like he did his own homework when working on the creation of the project.
When working on the two episodes so far, it looks like Bass had a small but a great production team behind him helping make the series. Teamwork and cooperation were a major key in the success and so far it shows that when it comes to passion if the love and the determination are there, then the sky’s the limit. It looks when it came to crowdfunding, the fanbase was a key but was not the major element but just the amount of volunteers and the Rangers gear they possess that really got the gears going.

Past Rangers Returning
It is nice to hear the backstory of how Red Ranger from Ninja Steel, Brody (William Shewfelt) came in the picture from creating the theme for Bass’s movie “Shattered Past”.
