Frozen 2 Will Join Disney+ Way Sooner Than Expected

Disney offers up a delightful gift to American fans by adding Frozen 2 to the Disney+ library tomorrow instead of three months from now.

The beloved Frozen movies are bestsellers, when it comes to family movie time, and Frozen 2 broke the record for biggest animated movie of all time. Which is why, in the midst of the scary situation which spreads around the globe, Disney decided to release Frozen 2 way sooner than expected on Disney+.

The Walt Disney Company decided to move the Disney+ release of Frozen 2 three months ahead of their schedule. The new release date is March 15, 2020. Which means that everyone in the U.S can watch Anna and Elsa’s newest adventure starting tomorrow, right along with their loved ones at home.

Go Into The Unknown Of Your Living Room With Frozen 2

While the streaming platform announced the good news in a tweet, Disney also confirmed it in a press release that included an extra surprise for international viewers:

“The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) announced that Frozen 2 will be available three months ahead of schedule on Disney+ in the U.S. beginning Sunday, March 15, surprising families with some fun and joy during this challenging period.

Frozen 2 has captivated audiences around the world through its powerful themes of perseverance and the importance of family, messages that are incredibly relevant during this time, and we are pleased to be able to share this heartwarming story early with our Disney+ subscribers to enjoy at home on any device,” said Bob Chapek.

Internationally, Frozen 2 will be available on Disney+ in Canada, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday, March 17.  In the U.S., the film will initially be available in high definition, with Ultra HD video playback available to all subscribers on Tuesday, March 17.

It’s a very nice surprise for Disney to give people the opportunity to enjoy their newest film easily and as often as they want during these dark and scary times.
