Power Rangers Beast Morphers star, Abraham Rodriguez, will be joining the cast of the Saved By The Bell reboot in a recurring role. The anticipated series will air on NBCUniversal’s upcoming Peacock streaming service.
Rodriguez will be playing a character named Spencer in the show, however there’s little known about his role at this time.
New Saved By The Bell Premise
The Saved By The Bell reboot will mix original cast members such as Mark-Paul Gosselaar who’s reprising his role as Zack Morris, Elizabeth Berkley returns as Jessie, and Mario Lopez is back as A.C. Slater. It’s still unclear if Tiffani Thiessen will be returning, but all recent signs point to yes.
Check out the storyline for the new Saved By The Bell:
When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state – including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the over-privileged Bayside kids a much needed and hilarious dose of reality.
We’re unclear if Spencer will be one of the over-privileged students from Bayside High, or one of the students from a high school that Senator Morris closed down.
Abraham Rodriguez Has Range
Abraham Rodriguez can currently be seen in the second season of Power Rangers Beast Morphers, playing a young prodigy named Nate, the Gold Ranger. Rodriguez is also nominated for a Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Award for Favorite Male TV actor and his Power Rangers Beast Morphers is up for best Kid’s TV Show.
The cast of Power Rangers Beast Morphers has been amazing this season with Rodriguez being a stand out showing great range throughout the series. We’re excited to see Abraham landing a recurring role in the iconic Saved By The Bell franchise. Abraham is a welcomed addition to the cast and joins newcomers to the show, Dexter Darden, Alycia Pascual-Pena, Josie Totah, and Belmont Cameli.
