While we still have to wait until later this year for the 2nd season of Disney+’s The Mandalorian, we do have a little bit of info about some of the new directors for the new season.
Black Series Rebels has posted a video on their YouTube channel in which they said that Robert Rodriguez and James Mangold are possibly directing episodes for Season 2 of The Mandalorian.
Future Possibilities For The Mandalorian
Now, I want to make a point of saying that this is all right now rumor and speculation. Nothing has been confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm, so this may or may not happen.
But if Robert Rodriguez and James Mangold are directing episodes for next season, this is going to be interesting. They haven’t yet directed anything for Star Wars, and depending on where they are in shooting Season 2, their episodes could be towards the end of the season.
