Loki Series Rumored To Reveal Menacing Kang The Conqueror On Disney+

According to a new report, the upcoming 'Loki' Disney+ streaming series, will introduce Kang the Conqueror to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Who is Kang the Conqueror?

Kang the Conqueror is one of The Avenger’s all-time greatest villains. First appearing in 1964’s The Avengers #8 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, it didn’t take long for Kang to establish himself as a credible threat. Kang is a time traveling human who has faced off against a number of Marvel characters including The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, Inhumans, and Young Avengers. At one point in time, a young version of Kang picks up the mantle of Iron Lad in an attempt to change his future and become a hero. As Iron Lad, Kang joins the Young Avengers.

Kang does not have any superhuman abilities himself, but is an extraordinary genius, expert historical scholar, and a master physicist, engineer, and technician. The villain has armed himself with 40th-century technology that naturally gives him an advantage against his less capable opposition. His suit is highly-capable and includes advanced armor, strength enhancements, force fields, hologram projection, and even the ability to control other technology. Kang is also in possession of his very own time ship, which is what allows him to travel through the time stream with ease.

Nothing is confirmed regarding Kang’s introduction to the MCU, but Loki seems like as good of a place as any to potentially set-up a new major player on the villain side of the Universe. Keep checking back here for updates on Kang and other character announcements! With Loki already in production, it wouldn’t be surprising for more information to slowly be sneaking out!
